This is demonstration of the Polar Coaster drawing machine. This machine coordinates a linear axis and a rotational (polar) axis to draw things on a round drink coaster.
The machine first touches off on a switch to home the linear axis. It then completes the drawing. All structural parts are 3D printed. The motors are NEMA 14 stepper motors. The pen is lifted by a small hobby servo. The firmware is Grbl with a small modification to use the servo.
