However, when things were really bad for me, call lines were incredibly helpful. They were an accessible tool when I was too depressed to get an actual therapist. Nothing can substitute an actual therapist though, so, I highly recommend getting one of those! If money is a factor, sliding scale therapists do exist, and can be a fantastic resource for those with not much financial flexibility.
