DIN Is Noise, a visual-audio synth, see https://dinisnoise.org/screenshots/ watching is good, but try urself at https://dinisnoise.org/download/ available for windows, mac, linux (desktop & raspberry pi), freebsd & netbsd! --- we start DIN from factory settings and make beats. we use polyrhythm plugin to create a polyrythmic beat pattern. new shortcuts for DIN64: shortcuts: g - set first beat, h - set last beat, j - shift region 1 beat left, k - shift region 1 beat right note, these shortcuts/feature not in DIN 63. coming soon to DIN64! --- DIN 60 series introduces a "Beater" module to make beats: when ON, a default 8 beat pattern envelops the voice, the drones and the triggered notes of mondrian and keyboard-keyboard. edit the pattern manually or subdivide using the beat divider plugin to complicate the pattern. press left arrow to select left vertex, right arrow to select right vertex, then press r or apply to subdivide! press up arrow or down arrow to increase/decrease number of subdivisions. F3/F4 to halve/double bpm. also use BPM tools to modulate bpm by small number ratios. undo/redo with z and shift+z press SPACE on beater editor to set last beat to vertex x of vertex nearest to cursor. sine mixer seems to work very well with beater; use left arrow and right arrow keys to shift the harmonics. keep auto apply ON. keep curve mixing time low on settings page. then vibe! to fold/unfold a tangent, click to pick tangent and press SHIFT + f we show u these features in these streams.
