In this video, I will explain you the two most common methods used to populate the contents of a file. Remember that I have not used a text editor to do so. Using a text editor is for another video. Certain times, you might face situation where you want to create a file on the go and store small data in it. In such situation, opening up a text editor might not be feasible. Also, if you are a penetration tester, when you spawn up a reverse shell, the kind of shell you receive is very native. It does not contains any text editor whatsoever. Hence knowing how to populate file on the go is very important.
