In bottom up, users select whitelisted funds, set allocations that total 100 percent, then view asset allocation and fund category details along with return comparisons versus scheme benchmarks and risk analysis using about 11 ratios marked green or red against expected thresholds.
It also notes top down uses filters and system-recommended funds based on criteria such as restricting to certain fund categories and optionally AMC allocations, after which report generation and model portfolio saving are enabled.
