In Part 4 from our Possessing Your Possessions series, we explore one of the most beautiful pictures of Jesus found in the Book of Joshua: the Cities of Refuge. These Old Testament cities point us directly to Christ, our true refuge, safety, and salvation. 📖 Main Scripture: Joshua 20:1–9 Through the meaning and purpose of the cities of refuge, we discover that Jesus is: • Our Savior • Our Strength • Our Satisfaction • Our Security • Our Sovereign • Our Sanctification This message also reminds us how near Christ is to all who call upon Him. Just as the cities of refuge were accessible to everyone in Israel, Jesus is only a prayer away.
