pottery making: throwing two mug experiments (no cuts)

In this video you can see me throwing two new experimental mug shapes. To make this intricate designs, I like to conceptualize the designs first, with specific proportions and geometric rules (probably under the influence of my architecture background). For that I make custom wooden ribs that help me achieve the final shape in a consistent way. The recorded sound during this video was a bit messy, with lots of street noises from cars, dogs and people. So there is some nice ambient music over this one, which ended up merging nicely with the noises from my own environment. Hope you enjoy the throwing of these mugs.
