Trimming a batch of cups using a chuck.
The chuck is a mass of clay, thrown and allowed to dry to leather hard. This tool is of great use for three main factors:
1. The trimming gets much faster, since there is less centering to do.
2. The cup can be trimmed from the rim to the base in one single position.
3. The rim is always pressed on a circular shape, which reduces the chance of deformed rims.
