This video discussed the terms associated with power Issues including Blackout, Fault, Brownout, Sag, Spike, Surge, Inrush, Noise, Transient, Clean. 0:00:06 Fault & Blackout 0:00:23 Sag & Brownout 0:00:40 Spike, Surge & Inrush 0:01:12 Noise & Transient 0:01:32 Clean Certain terminologies which are associated with power issues now the first two terminologies are associated with the complete loss of power and if this loss of power is on temporary basis then we say it is a FAULT and if this loss of power is on prolonged basis then we say it is a BLACKOUT. The next two terminologies are associated with the low-voltage of power and if this low-voltage is on temporary basis then we say it is a SAG and if this low-voltage is on prolonged basis then we say it is a BROWNOUT. The next 3 x terminologies are associated with the high voltage of power and if this high voltage is on temporary basis then we say it is a SPIKE and if this high voltage is on prolonged basis then we say it is a SURGE and if you initially connect your device to a power source and you experienced a surge or a high voltage then you say it is an INRUSH. The next two terminologies are associated with the interference to your power source and if this interference is on steady basis then you say it is a NOISE and if this interference is on temporary basis then you say it is a TRANSIENT. now this last terminology is not an issue rather it is a solution. So the desirable condition is that the power should be CLEAN. It means that the power should not be fluctuating between high voltage or low voltage because it will cause damage to your equipment. To ensure that we basically use an intermediate device like UPS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_outage Subscribe to Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA88P8LVa18fjOarJkeNVvQ?sub_confirmation=1
