Master Data Analytics with me: https://youtube.com/@InsightEdgeDataAnalytics-o6i?sub_confirmation=1 Power Query is a powerful tool in Excel. This tool can bring structure to your data if used appropriately. In this video, I used Power Query to transform data by using it to join two names together. You can find the steps below: A. Import your data to the Power Query but if you have it opened on your worksheet then select the first column header. B. Click your data tab, under it select from "table" and check "my table has headers" to import to the Power Query. C. Click "add column" and locate "Column from Examples" and click the "drop down". D. Select from all columns. You will see your data alongside an empty column at the right hand side. E. Double click the row 1 of the empty column and select the first name that pops up then manually type the second name. F. Move to the second row of your empty column and click (all the names will pop up) G. Click Ok (You will see the column joined). You can then remove the current column and rename your new column. H. Close and load. Enjoy the video, and if you find it useful kindly like and subscribe to my YouTube channel in order to see more of my videos.
