It’s also compact, lightweight and easy to use, even with one hand, while its intuitive 2.8-inch touchscreen with large icons makes it quick to navigate through the process of taking readings. Importantly, by taking readings from six angles of reflectance, along with six camera angles, DigiMatch captures an extraordinary amount of data about the vehicle colour being measured. In particular, the six colour camera images provide crucial texture information about pigment particle size, etc – something that is simply not available with conventional portable spectros. This highly detailed colour and texture information is seamlessly transferred to the VisualizID function in PAINTMANAGER® XI via WiFi or using the docking station.
