Hey guys some had a couple people say I should make a series on power upgrades on a ppump engine. So here is the first of a bunch to come.
Here is the list of what I would do in order
- Fluid / filter changes if you don’t know last time they were done.
- killer dowel pin fix ( kdp)
- check fuel pressure and for boost leaks
- fix fuel pressure issue if needed
( want Min of 25psi )
- Air filter upgrade (Fleetguard AH1141)
- Exhaust 4inch turbo back
- pyro/ boost gauge
- govern spring kit (gsk)
- 60lbs valve springs at some time if you do 4K gsk
-max your fuel plate out
( towards the front of engine )
- add more injection time 16-17 degrees
