Psalm 150 1 Praise the Lord Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. An Earlier Time This will be my first song added to this playlist called " An Earlier Time". Days of my earlier recordings and songs. Praise the Lord came out of my studies in the book of Psalm. I was amazed at how many times the phrase Praise the Lord or a direction of our praise was mentioned. God must deem it of great importance to want us to praise Him. And why shouldn't we? God has been so good, so faithful so awesome. I just wanted to put this phrase down someway in a Chorus type of song. To be sung as an anthem if you will. I grew up hearing praise music in the 70's from groups like maranatha music. and so many songs back then were just small choruses of praise. No tags or bridges like we have today in worship. Just simple songs of joy repeated over and over. Again it was an "Earlier Time".
