O' Wise Lord, Merciful and Forgiving of sin! Thy pure faith I embrace—in thought, word, and deed within. Steadfast in merit, repenting wrongs, to Thee I turn, Pure in soul's powers, Thy holy will I yearn. Righteousness, the best good we revere, In its grace, true happiness draws near. To the soul who seeks it for its own noble sake, Bliss eternal blooms, no fetters to break. O Virtuous One, by Thy will I worship true, With good thoughts, good words, good deeds ever pursue.
