The price of fertiliser has reached record highs over the past few seasons, so reducing the amount of inputs used on-farm, without impacting yield or productivity, can only be a good thing. GRDC has partnered with the Society of Precision Agriculture Australia (SPAA) to further explore how to make precision fertiliser decisions in a tight economic climate. A key feature of this investment is a series of face-to-face workshops aimed at assisting growers to better manage input prices, maximise on farm productivity and environmental efficiencies; as well as build economic resilience within their farming systems.
