All trains stop correctly at the station - regardless of their approach speed. The speed of the train is measured with two photo detectors. The start of the slow down and stop is delayed depending on the measured speed. A train coming into the station at 40 MPH is delayed by 4.8 seconds whereas a train at 80 MPH is not delayed at all.
