Predicting Employee Attrition using Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Machine Learning, Oracle APEX and Oracle Analytics Cloud
This YouTube walks you through the detailed steps of how to solve a typical machine learning problem—predicting voluntary employee attrition—using Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Machine Learning. It continues on to show how to build a “solution” Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Analytics Cloud. We show how to use Oracle Machine Learning Notebooks to build, evaluate, select and apply multiple ML models that run entirely inside the Oracle Database. We then quickly build an APEX application and view and interrogate our insights and predictions about employees. Lastly, interactively explore our insights and predictions using Oracle Analytics Cloud. We share the code and “demo kit” on GitHub for “best practices” for anyone who wants to learn and reuse the demo assets.
