A first draft of what will be my first Prelude (and likely my first finished piece...). It still relies on substantial improvisation at this stage and is not yet notated, however it is ready for the final phase of composition:
When the time feels right, I'll return to this piece, play it over many times, splice together the best sections/moments from those takes into a Frankenstein draft, then notate it, improve it again at the score, then finally relearn the finished score and perform it. I'll release a video showing this process in depth.
