In this video a Raspberry-Pi based wordclock is presented. The described version displays the current time with a precision of 1 minute, but - when exploiting the capabilites of the RPi - many further things can be done... Presented features are - Changing the display color using capacitive touch sensors - Rendering strings in a ticker-like style - Display of low-resolution png-files (considering the wordclock as a display with a resolution of 11x10 pixel) Further features, implemented in the meantime - Access to "weather.com" to display current temperature - Display time of sunrise, sunset, current moon phase - Support of wordclock with different resolution (other than 11x10 pixels, needs testing) Source code - Available at https://github.com/bk1285/rpi_wordclock Further documentation - Available at http://rpi-wordclock.readthedocs.io/en/master/
