after living through slowly disappearing trying to become what another person needed me to be, this song sort of wrote itself.
i kept thinking about how easy it is for control to hide inside affection. how some people don’t want you broken… just small enough to manage. quiet enough to keep. obedient enough to never leave.
so a friend and i built the song on bandlab to feel like that tension physically.
still figuring out my sound and learning as i go, but this one meant a lot to me.
