Pretty Yato

I'm in a nightclub. I ask to join two girls on a couch. After a week, I see one of them. She takes me to her brother’s Cafe. “Your boyfriend, Yato (kiddo)?” her brother asks. She looks at him with a big, naughty smile. “I am not a Yato.” She says to me. “You are a pretty Yato,” I speak. “I am not. How old is your girlfriend?” She speaks. “Same as me, 26.” I don’t know why I say that. Sabrina is 22, both Aily and Kylie are 26. “How long have you two been dating?” “3 months. How long have you been dating?” “I am kind of seeing a classmate.”    When we first met at the nightclub that night, I thought she was a big girl with a little kid’s voice and speaking style. Now I know she is a kid.     We go to the nightclub after. She is playful like a little girl when she dances; she is happy and free, playful and sweet, and the attention she gets doesn’t make her self-conscious or shy. She gives the DJ a piece of paper. When the DJ plays the song, she says “It is my song; dance with me.”   She continues to give the DJ papers for songs. She is busy and happy, moving around. What a kid.      Yato takes me to meet her two college friends in a well-known night market. I am in the wrong age group.  After saying goodbye to her two friends, we walk in the nearby tunnels. She slowly and carefully put her face on my shoulder. I kiss her forehead and then hug her for a while. I feel she is hoping for a romantic kiss. “You are a very pretty Yato,” I say. I could feel her innocence. “I am not a Yato. Only my family calls me that.” She says.     Yato is going camping with some of her friends. She asked me to go with her. “I will not feel comfortable camping with all you college students.” “You look like our age.” “The fact is I’m not your age.” “It is not important. I really want you to join us. I will share my tent with you.” Oh god, innocent and sweet. “I will like that, just not this time.” “When?” “I don't know.” I think I will ask for more than she expects in a tent. God. Yato. I am not one of you kids.
