When you customise a car this much, every single change creates a whole new list of problems to solve… and this build is no different.
In this episode of the Rat Trap Beetle build, we’re deep in the chaos — fitting the rear fenders, dialing in the air ride, swapping tyres, breaking parts, fixing parts, and finally getting the engine in place.
Nothing ever goes exactly to plan when you’re building a slammed, fully custom VW… but that’s all part of it. Problem solving, cutting, grinding, reworking — this is what it takes to bring a car like this to life.
This thing might have me beat… but we’re not giving up yet.
🔥 Follow along as we push through the setbacks and get one step closer to finishing the Rat Trap.
