Processing strawberry in the lab! What looks simple on the outside turns into a really interesting mix of seeds and structure once it’s on a slide. Fun fact: strawberries aren’t actually berries, they’re aggregate fruits, and each of those “seeds” on the outside is its own individual fruit. Just another reminder that even everyday things can look completely different under the microscope.
