PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews singer Adam Ant, one of pop music's most vibrant figures in the last 25 years in this 10 minute episode teaser. In the 80s Adam's British New Wave band, "Adam and the Ants" had three #1 while Adam was voted "Sexiest Man in America" by the viewers of MTV. Besides the wild costumes and make up, "Adam and the Ants" might be best remembered for producing some of the most lavish music videos of the decade. By the 90s, suffering from exhaustion along with bi-polar disorder Adam left the music scene, and focused his attention to acting on television and film roles. Today, he frankly speaks out about his bi-polar disorder to help others suffering from the same ailment. And after a 15-year break away from the music he's back with his new band called, "The Good, The Mad, and the Lovely Posse," who have received great reviews throughout the U.S. and Europe.
