Welcome to the Java Tutorial Series! Chris here, and in this first video I will introduce you to Java and explain the necessary steps to create your first application. I'll be glad to share the knowledge I've gained over the years concerning Java and programming in general. I hope to help beginners avoid the pitfalls that I've stumbled into when I started out. As this is my first video and I still have to get used to talking to myself in front of the computer screen (coupled with editing), this attempt is far from perfect.
