Project L.A.W.N.

This is something a little different, a full stop-motion story. This film project took about 10 months to complete, from character creation and assembly to shooting to editing and finishing. This is a story of 4 special experimental plants, Ex. L, Ex. A, Ex. W, and Ex. N. Along with their newfound way of life, they were each provided one required resource, Light, Air, Water, or Nutrients. All of them have become animated, and now all of them must protect the things given to them in order to survive. But what if the conservation of their own materials comes at the cost of one of their own lives? Much like ourselves in quarantine, we are all isolated, we are all desperate for things we need to survive that are sometimes just out of our reach. Nothing is easy, for some, like Ex: W, N, and L, we are content, but incomplete, and like Ex: A, some of us are really struggling, just hanging on with what they have. To me, this story almost seems to fit in with what our world is going through today. In the end, we all need to think of each other, contribute what we can, and hopefully, we can all get through this… together. As always, thank you for taking the time to watch my little creations.
