Funded by the Government of Sweden and implemented by UNIDO, in collaboration with the Government of Zambia through the Ministry of Technology and Science, and the Volvo Group (as an industry partner), the ZAMITA Project is transforming technical education in the automotive and heavy equipment sector.
Training is delivered through NORTEC, with TEVETA providing regulatory oversight through curriculum development, ensuring alignment with national priorities and international industry standards.
Together, we are equipping young people especially women with relevant skills for decent work, strengthening institutional capacities, and fostering sustainable industrial development in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
