I recently acquired a few vintage vinyl records of Morton Subotnick and was intrigued by the notation on the back of Silver Apples of the Moon. I experimented with 5 of the lines from this notation using the 251e and 250e for the sequences and the 252e for some triggering. I used the principal and modulation oscillators from the 261e and 259 as well as one section of the Dual Algorithmic Oscillator. This doesn’t sound anything like Subotnick’s masterpiece, but it was fun putting it together.
