The National Clonal Germplasm Repository for Citrus and Dates in Riverside, California is the genebank responsible for maintaining world-class collections of citrus crops and their wild relatives for the USDA National Plant Germplasm System. Join Robert Krueger to learn about citrus tristeza virus and some of the other threats facing the industry. See how this genebank works to prevent the spread of viruses through protective structures, testing, thermotherapy, shoot tip therapy, and cryopreservation.
