Every week, Team Protocase is bringing you a Proto Tech Tip video, where we'll give an informative look at a particular aspect of sheet metal fabrication and CNC Machining. This week, Cody is back to talk about the differences between l-shape and u-shape enclosure styles. U-shape enclosures are one of the simplest enclosure styles to design and manufacture and are great for fitting printed circuit boards with connectors on perpendicular sides. If you have a printed circuit board with connectors on opposing sides, we recommend designing with an l-shape enclosure. Be sure to check out our guide on when to use each enclosure style: https://www.protocase.com/blog/2018/08/02/why-l-shape-enclosures-are-ideal-for-pcbs-with-opposing-connectors/ Check out all of our templated enclosure styles here: https://www.protocase.com/products/electronic-enclosures/ For more articles and technical resources, check out our resources page on our website: https://www.protocase.com/resources/ Try out the fastest and easiest way to design, price and build custom enclosures and parts: https://www.protocasedesigner.com/download/ Thanks for watching!
