Proto Tech Tip - Using Mate References in SolidWorks
Every week, Team Protocase is bringing you a Proto Tech Tip video, where we'll give an informative look at a particular aspect of sheet metal fabrication and CNC Machining. In this week's video, Cody is back to talk about using the mate reference feature inside SolidWorks. A mate reference is a feature you can apply to a component in SolidWorks that will allow you to quickly place and mate them into an assembly. This is a very beneficial feature to use when working with a design that requires a heavy number of PEMs or components that need to be inserted.
