Prototype for a New Crochet Vest Pattern

Follow along as I work on a very first prototype from my earlier inspiration board to create a new pattern for a versatile travel vest - one that I can wear on it’s own or layered - for casual flip flop days or out to dinner. I highlight the design choices I make along the way, the “frogging” to test ideas and sort out fit issues, the decisions around yarn choices, stitches or even pattern repeats as I create a new paid pattern to help raise funds for Cancer charities. My plan is to create an easy to make vest that is for intermediate levels due to the increases, button holes etc. - but a pattern that will inspire users to be creative with yarns, colours, stitches choices, trim options, collars and more. As we test out all the options we will keep you updated and look forward to launching this new pattern this summer.
