I needed to joint the edge of a couple of wooden boards. My first idea was to use a guide fence and use the palm router and a flush trim router bit to joint those edges smooth and straight. But something strange happened, and the surface was wavy. So my next woodworking idea was to use my DIY horizontal axis router table to improvise a prototype for a homemade bench jointer. I just needed to glue a sheet of metal after the router. The result wasn't 100% perfect, but it gave me the idea to improve it, which we'll see in an upcoming video.
