Getting Started with Proxmox PVE APIs The video is part of a Proxmox PVE Nested Virtualization home lab series, where we will be building out a lab environment to test Proxmox no subscription features and functionality. Since Broadcom's acquisition of VMware, many customers are looking elsewhere for their virtualisation requirements - this video shows what you need to do to use the Proxmox REST API. In this video, we run through the following with the API. We look at: Setting up a user with API access. Using Postman to get an access ticket from Proxmox. Using Postman to access the API using the access ticket and session cookie and get the Proxmox cluster version. Using PowerShell to get an access ticket. Using PowerShell to access the API using the access ticket and session cookie. Doing something practical with the API - getting and controlling a VM run status. The script used in the video can be found here: https://github.com/HouseOfLogicGH/ProxmoxPVE Note - it isn't mentioned in the video, but Postman should be set to disable SSL certificate verification.
