Proxmox Increase Swap Memory Size The video is part of a Proxmox PVE Nested Virtualization home lab series, where we will be building out a lab environment to test Proxmox no subscription features and functionality. Since Broadcom's acquisition of VMware, many customers are looking elsewhere for their virtualisation requirements - this video shows what you need to do to increase swap memory on the Proxmox PVE host. In this video, we run through the following: Finding the size of the volume group and different volumes. Finding the free space of the volume group. Disabling swap memory. Increasing the size of the swap volume. Formatting the swap partition. Enabling the swap partition. Troubleshooting when it goes slightly wrong. Commands used: vgs lvs lvresize -L +2G /dev/pve/swap mkswap /dev/pve/swap swapon /dev/pve/swap Follow @HouseofLogicBlog or visit https://www.houseoflogic.co.uk for more tutorials and articles.
