Psalm 21

Inspired by Psalm 21. Strings and mild rock. Here are the lyrics used: The king will rejoice, in Your strength O Lord; In Your salvation, his joy is greatly poured. You have granted, the longing his heart confessed And answered the prayer, his lips expressed. You met him with blessings, generous and sure; You set on his head, a crown of gold so pure. He asked You for life, you gave him days That stretch on forever, in endless praise. His glory is great, through the help You give; With honor and majesty, You cause him to live. You have made him, blessed forevermore; with joy in Your presence, his heart will ever soar. For the king trusts, in the most high Lord; Through steadfast mercy, no path deterred. Your hand will discover, each hidden foe; Your right hand will strike, every hater low. You will make them burn, in Your anger’s flame; The Lord will consume them, in wrath the same. Fire will devour, leaving none to stand; Their strength undone, by Your sovereign hand. Their children You’ll cut, from the earth below; Their line from mankind, will no longer go. Though they planned their evil and schemed with care, Their plans will fail leaving them in despair. You will make them turn their backs and run When Your bow is drawn and the arrow is spun.
