You’ve widened the tight place, opened the cage, Lifted my soul from the weight of rage. (Verse 2) How long will you chase illusions, Bow to lies, and feed confusion? Know this: the Lord has set apart His own, When I whisper His name, I am never alone. (Chorus) You are my peace, my only light, You calm the storms of the night. More than harvests, more than wine, Your joy in me is overflowing, divine. (Verse 3) Tremble, but don’t sin—be still on your bed, Search your heart while silence spreads. Offer what is pure, trust in His hand, He is the anchor where I can stand. (Bridge) Many cry, “Who will show us what is good?” But Your face shines brighter than it should.
