Question: Jamie and Oliver used $61.20 each to buy some egg tarts. Jamie has a 15% discount coupon and bought 6 more egg tarts than Oliver. How many egg tarts did Jamie buy? What is the cost of an egg tart without the discount? It tests your child on the concept of percentage discount. When Jamie had a 15% discount coupon and bought 6 more egg tarts than Oliver, it means that 15% of Jamie's money can buy 6 egg tarts. From here, we find 100% to get the answer for part a.
