A reimagining of Psycho, exploring similarity and difference. This unique film raises questions of authorship in an age of mashups and remixes. It records historical changes in filmmaking apparatus and modes of production. It also dispels the myth Gus Van Sant made a ’shot for shot’ remake. There are entire scenes missing from the Gus Van Sant version. Both versions use the same script. Due to the original source materials the technical quality of the film is low.
