Following up on the introduction, this video shows several ways to search, pull, and commit basic images containers in our Kali Linux VM.
In this video we cover:
- Searching for new images
- Pulling down a fresh image
- Making a container based on that image
- Updating things in the container
- Committing those changes back to a new image
- Removing containers, images, and doing it in bulk with a single line of code.
At about the 8 minute mark I say "If you want to challenge yourself, here's a task you could do that goes beyond the scope of the video" then I immediately do the thing... making it... part of the scope of the video...
