Pumpkin Fly Control

Organic Pumpkin Fly control is incredibly difficult. This is a method of Pumpkin Fly control developed on Livingseeds Farm. There are a few important points to keep in mind with these traps. 1) They MUST be installed correctly. 2) The must be installed BEFORE Pumpkin Fly arrives on your property. 3) You must manage and remove any stung fruit that you find. These traps are a method of control that will assist in reduction of pumpkin fly in your garden. These are not a magic bullet, and they cannot catch every female in the garden. The primary use of these traps is to reduce the number of laying females in your garden so that you can get a harvest, there will eventually become a point where the pest pressure is too high and the traps will be unable to make a dent in the population, hopefully at that point your pumpkins will be at a sufficient maturity that they cannot be stung.
