Pure Data Live 14 – Hyperjumps

In this video, we’re aboard a spacecraft performing a long sequence of hyperjumps — passing through strange anomalies and warped spaces. This piece took quite a while to make, and at some point, I noticed a parallel between these jumps and the creative process itself. Just like a spaceship needs to keep jumping forward, creating digital art also requires consistency and habit — showing up, experimenting, and continuing, even when the path feels uncertain. The sound is created in a patch I built in Pure Data. The process was captured via screen recording along with four separate audio channels, which were later processed and mixed in a DAW. After that, I worked on the visuals — taking the recorded Pure Data output and shaping it further in After Effects, turning the patch activity into a cinematic sequence of motion and space distortion.
