Ward Councilors in the Nawaeb District’s Nabak LLG say they are yet to be put on payroll following an NEC decision last year.
The National Executive Council had approved a submission from the Inter-Government Relations Minister, to put LLG Ward Councilors on the Alesco payroll system.
However the ward 13 Councilor of Nabak LLG, MacLay Esoke says he has not being on the payroll since then.
Mr Esoke says Ward Councilors are mandated by the government, therefore should be paid accordingly.
