A Put wall is a typical application for sorting products that arrive per batch. Batches may consist of single or multiple SKU’s, originating from production facilities, warehouses, suppliers as well as reverse logistics. At a putwall products will be identified, the display(s) at the required location(s) indicate where to put the product. Operators put the product(s) and confirm the action by pushing the button(s). At each putwall an overhead display provides the operator with additional information such as; the Putwall status, progress and any exceptions that might occur. A display at the packside of the Putwall will show the operator which cubby is ready to be packed. An overhead display at the packside informs the employee on box size, order/customer number or specific order requirements.
