If you tune the fifth pure at the second coincident partial (CP) and it measures wide at the first, OR if you tune your fifth pure at the first CP and it measures extra narrow at the second,
that means you must tune it closer to pure (or even slightly wide) at the first CP to have the second CP come out right. If you tune the fifth pure at the second CP and it measures extra narrow at the first, OR if you tune your fifth pure at the first CP and it measures wide at the second, that means your fifth will need to be extra narrow at the first CP for the second CP to come out right.
