Python, Ableton... and a Theremin?
The fourth and final part of a series in which I control Ableton Live from Python using my SCAMP Libraries. In this part, we create a ghostly theremin part, and modulate its timbre with CC messages. We also put everything together from all of the other videos. If you want to try it yourself, you can get the code here: https://git.sr.ht/~marcevanstein/music.py/tree/master/item/ScampToAbleton/Part4 . To run it, you'll need to install the SCAMP libraries for Computer-Assisted Music in Python. Instructions for getting up and running can be found here: http://scamp.marcevanstein.com/ If you've enjoyed these video and/or want to get early access to extra fun stuff, I hope you'll consider supporting me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/marcevanstein Take my course on Kadenze.com, which will guide you step-by-step in getting started with Python and SCAMP: https://www.kadenze.com/courses/computer-assisted-music-in-python-i Further information on lessons and workshops I teach can be found here: http://teaching.marcevanstein.com/
