Qi Gong Lesson with Sam
Sam is a licensed massage therapist, is certified in electronic acupuncture (Microcurrent Point Stimulation) , is a Chi Gong Master, and is also schooled in reflexology. The Chi Gong philosophy aids in breathing, muscle relaxation, neck and shoulder tightness release, the use of sound in "cupping", cancer prevention, prevention of kidney stones and appendicitis, digestive improvement, release of back pain, ankle and knee strengthening, improvement of circulation and diabetes, lymph node drainage, strengthening of the mind, and improved concentration. Chi Gong improves overall health and mindfulness. Exercise increases brain activity and increases the retention of new information. Exercise improves the delivery of oxygen to our muscles and decreases soreness and tension. Exercise also produces endorphins which lessens the likelihood of depression. Physical activity allows you to focus on your body and environment. Exercise improves stress resiliency. The more active you are, the better your body responds to physical and mental stressors. This video features a Qi Gong master. It details why each move is important, how, and why it is executed. Qi Gong is the study of our Qi or energy flow. Sam demonstrates and explains each move.
