Alternate States in Qlikview was introduced in version 11. This feature allows you to perform comparative analysis such as year over year sales trend by customer or region.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to create different alternate states and group sheet objects in certain states to facilitate comparative analysis. We will also explore ways to use common dimensions(in default state) for further analysis along with the alternate states.
