Mini charts are the new way of showing the trend chart or bar chart in just a cell of a metric. They become really helpful when in one column you are showing the current value and in the next cell you are showing the historical trend of that value. It will help the end user to quickly predict or decide what action s/he need to take based on the available trend.
In this video I've tried to give a quick idea about how to create mini charts in qlikview and some of its important properties.
