Live-coding a shooter with Photon Quantum 3 for Unity.
This project will be streamed over multiple episodes. Topics for this stream (part 2 of the series):
- Reviewing past topics (KCC, snapshot interpolation, client side prediction)
- Adding scene prefabs and animated character
- Implementing lag compensation
a) sending view timing through input
b) storing lag compensation history (for shooting targets)
c) injecting proxy hitboxes
d) per-player sub-tick accuracy
- testing
Besides the above, general questions related to Quantum or other Photon Products are welcome.
